CONTAINERS
Containers are a major part of our daily business. Therefore we have one of the largest fleet of
trucks for container transport in the country, with full generator facilities for all our line-haul
trucks and a capacity for high-cube containers. As all our branches have swinglifters, we can
offer a complete service for loading and unloading containers.

We also provide container logistics through our WestPack operation, including packing and
devanning, and through our Shipping division we offer container sales, leasing and repairs.

LINE-HAUL
We have a large and diverse fleet of line-haul vehicles, all fitted with the latest industry
technology, so we can provide you with reliable and cost-effective service. The capacity of
our fleet allows us to transport almost anything, anywhere in New Zealand.

| 15 metre B-train units (both flat deck and curtain-siders)
| 16 metre B-train units (both flat deck and curtain-siders)
The linehaul fleet vehicles have payload capacities of 24–30 tonnes.

HIABS
All our branches have a variety of hiabs available for daily or contract hire, ranging from
1 tonne to 15 tonne capacity with an out reach up to 20 metres. We also have
accompanying equipment such as concrete skips and man buckets for hire.

REFRIGERATION
We offer a comprehensive refrigerated fleet – for frozen and chilled goods – which operates
nationwide. Our capabilities include carting hanging meat and all types of fresh produce and
pip-fruit.

With a fleet that has both hard-sided and curtain-sided trailers, we are OMAR certified
(Overseas Market Access Requirements) to carry animal products, and VEGFED accredited
by the New Zealand Food and Safety Authority.

SWING LIFTERS
Each HOOKER PACIFIC branch has its own swing lifters capable of lifting and carrying high
cube 20ft and 40ft ISO containers. These are available for direct hire or offered as a container
transport service.

NATIONWIDE DISTRIBUTION
From our branches, we are able to move most general goods to anywhere around New Zealand.
Working with our associates in the 5star fmcg distribution group allows us to offer you speedy
and hassle-free transport. Most distribution in the North Island is overnight and within 48
to 72 hours to the South Island.

METRO DELIVERIES
As part of our nationwide distribution network, we have a range of delivery trucks based at all
our branches, from small vans for delivering parcels through to tail-lifter trucks and hiabs for
delivering specialised or heavy freight.

BULK TANKERS
We have bulk tankers available for transporting both liquid and solid products. Our liquid
tankers are capable of transporting a wide range of products including fuels, chemicals,
resins, molasses, bitumen and wine. Specialised units are fitted with pumping and metering
equipment. The solid product tankers are used primarily for stock feed and grain. All of these
units are fitted with auger discharge equipment.
