Our Heavy Haulage Division have the capability to handle a wide range of specialised project cargo loads.

With a fleet of dedicated tractor units and platform trailers based in Taranaki and Manawatu we are capable of undertaking heavy haulage work throughout New Zealand.

Experienced in securing large load permits and road surveys for specific routes, Hooker Pacific are
capable of carrying loads from 28-tonne to 400-tonne. Our largest tractor unit is a Mack
Superliner with 525Hp of pulling power.

These and our other tractor units can be coupled to a wide range of low-loader and platform
trailer configurations - to trailers with three rows of eight wheels, four rows of eight wheels and six rows of eight wheels
which can be coupled up long ways to make 15 rows of eight single wide or 12 rows of eight wheels or side-by-side to make six rows of 16 wheels.

Not only does our fleet cater for heavy project cargo but we also operate trombone semi
trailers and jinker units as well to accommodate loads up to 30 metres long.
