HOOKERS experience in bulk fuel haulage dates back to the early 1980s when Taranaki’s inland
oil and gas fields began being developed.

Fully certified to cart LPG, crude oil and condensates, bitumens and emulsions, petrol, diesel
and other petroleum products, Fuel Haulage became a self contained division within Hooker
Pacific in 1999.

Operating a fleet of over 80 dangerous goods specified tractor units and truck and trailer
tank wagons, HOOKERS expertise in fuel haulage is well recognised with nationwide contracts
including carting Caltex fuel products, and Rockgas LPG nationwide. Fuel Haulage services
include carting, scheduling and distribution depending upon the client’s requirements.

Fuel Haulage drivers undertake extensive training and product familiarisation before getting
behind the wheel. HOOKERS have three driver trainers dedicated to ensuring all its drivers are
trained in the latest driving and safety procedures.

Our focus is on scheduling, dispatching and distributing customers’ products in the most
efficient and safest manner possible.
