Jim Ramsay Receives Prestigious Fellowship

Transport Investments Ltd Managing Director Jim Ramsay was “very surprised and very pleased” to be recently recognised as a “Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport”—the highest award granted by the
international institution. Jim was recommended for the Fellowship by other members of the industry in recognition of his services, seniority and length of time in the industry, says the Institutes Executive Director, Brian Stocking.
“Jim has been outstanding in his all round professionalism across various modes of transport over many years,” explains Brian. “He was unaware of his nomination for the Fellowship until we presented it to him at a recent
Institute function in New Plymouth.” Jim joined the transport industry straight from school nearly 50 years
ago, and joined Hookers in 1968. Jim has also been awarded Life Membership of the Western Central Districts Road Transport Association.
